When does the grant open for applicants?

The 2022 WISE Fund Grant will be open for applications from October 12th until November 2nd, 2021.

Who can apply for the WISE Fund Grant?

Sport organizations, community organizations, university/college sport programs, schools, and non-profits are eligible to apply.

When will applicants receive word if they have received the grant or not?

Late January 2022.

How will this grant support diverse communities across the country?

A minimum of 60% of grant funding will go toward organizations or initiatives directly serving underrepresented women and girls.

Can I apply to both the 2022 WISE Fund Grant and the Game On program?

Yes! If your organization can gather girls aged 14-18 within the same club, and 2 coaches that can sign on to receive training and then deliver the full 8-week program virtually or in-person for the Game on program then you’re good to go.

Can I submit my application or other supporting documents to Canadian Women & Sport by email?

No. All applications must be submitted via our application portal which can be found here once live. Any applications that come via email or past the submission deadline on November 2 at 11:59pm ET will not be accepted.
